Quiz Night
QNHeld on the 31st July - this was an outstanding evening - lots of fun and laughter, and everyone totally into the spirit of things.  The tables were spectacularly dressed, as were the attendees and Frank Vosper kept the laugher coming.  Great food and wine, and in the process we raised an outstanging $3000 - this is an event we will definitely want to do again

Recently the PTA approved a request from the staff for $450 for Rainbow Readers. Rainbow Staff had identified these as a valuable resource to boost students' ability and enthusiasm for reading.  They are getting used on pretty much a daily basis, currently by room 8, and Andrea Peterson reports that they are having an impact.  Pictured here are Taylor and Joshua with teacher aide, Annemarie Mowat.  Andrea commented that Joshua has gone up 2 reading levels since using the rainbow Readers.

At the last meeting the committee voted $500 for the reunion committee and is looking at a further contribution to the 75th reunion.

The PTA's role is to build the community of the school and raise money for initiatives beyond ministry funding. All parents and staff belong to the PTA and all are welcome to help out in any way they can - help with planning or put in an hour or two during the functions.

Why do we do it? We are passionate and proud of our school and community, we want the best for our kids....and it's fun!

We believe that through this we can have a positive impact on our children’s futures.
