Greetings

Term 3 is off to a positive start!  It is great to be back and enjoying the children once again.  We have started with a number of new enrolments which is always exciting.  We warmly welcome our new students and their families to the Pyes Pa School community.

We have much happening this term, both on the academic front and also on the sporting and cultural side of things.  Other than all the normal class programmes, activities include Inter-School Competitions in Chess, Speeches, Problem Solving and Winter Sport, Junior KRSA Dance Day, class camps and the highlight of the term, our whole school Marae visit. 

New developments continue to take place around the school.  This term, construction will begin on a new toilet block.  We will also have a new classroom on site by the end of the year and have started this process.  General maintenance work will take place shortly in a number of areas of the school, which will freshen the appearance of our buildings. 

A key highlight coming up in the early part of Term 4 will be our 75th Celebration.  We are looking forward to marking this significant milestone.  For further information, please go to www.pyespa.org.nz
